If you love carpentry and construction but you're getting tired of the slow market and heat, this is the position for you.

Talk with interested customers from an air-conditioned office, periodically visit a jobsite to take measurements, generate estimates, and work with an experienced team to meet weekly sales goals. Limited sales experience OK, willing to train motivated individuals. Greater of base wage or commission during training period (base wage dependent upon experience), quarterly bonus potential.

MouldingFX is a growing manufacturer of custom doors and moulding, based in Salt Lake City, Job responsibilities for our open sales order taker will include:

1. Develop and manage customer relationships.
2. Meet weekly team sales goals.
3. Increase awareness of and educate interested customers in our superior doors and moulding through outbound phone calls.
4. Use your strengths in a specialized and experienced sales team to reach goals together.
5. Produce cost estimates and follow up to finalize sale.

Quarterly bonus potential

Requirements:
Previous sales experience in construction or carpentry finish work preferred.
Ability to clearly speak with general contractors throughout the Western United States over the phone.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette
High energy, goal oriented individual

A High School Diploma or GED.

Prior carpentry/construction experience strongly preferred.

Candidates must have the following:
1. Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and processes clearly both written and verbal
2. Ability to work within timelines, extended hours, and in pressure situations
3. Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision making skills.
4. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and computers in general.

Candidate must be able to work as part of a team, with minimal or no supervision.
